Design: Cassion Castle Architects with Peter Laidler

The client, a structural engineer, asked us to collaborate with him on the design of an extension to his own home.

The brief for the project was to replace and extend the existing kitchen and conservatory at the rear of the house. We worked closely with Peter to incorporate his ideas for the structural elements into a complete and coherent architectural proposal. An uncomplicated interior was created to showcase the exposed Douglas fir ceiling structure.
